What we do

SalaryProof is an independent salary database covering all industries — not just tech. Browse real reported salaries from H-1B public records and user submissions across Healthcare, Finance, Legal, Trades, Education, and more. No paywalls, no gatekeeping.

Our data

We draw from two sources:

• 1H-1B Labor Condition Application filings from the US Department of Labor — public records required by law, covering hundreds of thousands of jobs annually.
• 2User-submitted salaries, optionally verified with proof documents like offer letters or pay stubs. All records are clearly labeled as Unverified or ✓ Verified.

Verification

When users upload proof (an offer letter or pay stub), we review it manually and award a green ✓ Verified badge. We never share proof documents publicly — they are stored privately and accessible only to administrators for the sole purpose of verification.

Who we are

SalaryProof is an independent project built to make salary data accessible to everyone. We are not affiliated with any employer or recruiter. We do not sell data to third parties. Our only goal is to give workers the information they need to negotiate fairly.
