Data Storage and Security
Database: All salary data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit.
Proof Documents: Uploaded offer letters and pay stubs are stored in Supabase Storage with private bucket access. These files are:
- Never displayed publicly
- Only accessible to administrators for verification
- Automatically redacted for personal information (name, address, SSN)
- Stored with access logging and audit trails
Row-Level Security: Database policies enforce that only authorized personnel can modify or delete salary records.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Public Data: Salary information you submit (excluding proof documents) is made publicly available in aggregate and anonymized form. We never display:
- Your name or email address
- Exact hire dates (only month/year)
- Proof documents you upload
- IP addresses or device information
Third Parties: We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
