- Upload proof documents (offer letters, pay stubs) for verification

User Conduct and Responsibilities
Accurate Information
You agree to:
- Provide truthful, accurate salary information
- Not submit false, misleading, or exaggerated data
- Not impersonate another person or entity
- Submit only your own salary information (not on behalf of others)
Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Submit spam, duplicate, or automated submissions
- Attempt to manipulate salary data or statistics
- Upload malicious files or viruses
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access restricted areas
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Proof Documents
When uploading proof documents, you agree to:
- Only upload documents you have the legal right to share
- Ensure documents do not contain malware or harmful content
- Understand that personal information will be automatically redacted
- Accept that administrators may review documents for verification
Content Ownership and License
Your Submissions
You retain ownership of the salary information you submit. However, by submitting data to SalaryProof, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Display your submission publicly in anonymized form
- Aggregate and analyze submissions for statistics
- Store and process your data as described in our Privacy Policy
Platform Content
All content on SalaryProof (excluding user submissions) including text, graphics, logos, and software is owned by SalaryProof or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Data Accuracy and Disclaimers
No Warranty of Accuracy
SalaryProof displays user-submitted salary data. While we verify submissions when proof is provided, we make NO WARRANTY regarding:
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of salary data
- The suitability of data for any particular purpose
- That data is free from errors or misrepresentations
Not Professional Advice
SalaryProof provides informational content only. We do not provide:
- Career counseling or job placement services
- Legal, tax, or financial advice
- Negotiation or compensation consulting
You should consult qualified professionals before making career or financial decisions.
Verification and Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Review, approve, reject, or remove any salary submission
- Request additional verification or proof
- Flag or mark submissions as unverified
- Ban users who violate these Terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion
Submissions with proof documents are marked "verified" after admin review. Submissions without proof are marked "unverified" but remain visible.
Rate Limiting and Abuse Prevention
To prevent spam and abuse, we implement rate limiting based on IP address and browser fingerprints. Excessive submissions may result in:
- Temporary submission blocks
- Account suspension
- Permanent ban from the Platform
Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Intellectual Property
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content
- Use automated tools to scrape salary data
- Create derivative works without permission
- Use our name, logo, or branding without authorization
Limited personal use for research or negotiation is permitted. Commercial use requires written permission.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SALARYPROOF AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from use of inaccurate salary data
- Unauthorized access to your data or submissions
- Errors, interruptions, or service outages
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SalaryProof from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your submission of false or fraudulent data
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable laws
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or abusive activity
- Any conduct we deem harmful to the Platform or other users
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Submitted salary data may remain in anonymized form.
Governing Law and Disputes
